The Modern Conservative is committed to bringing rational and truthful content to readers of all perspectives. Rather than pushing a right wing agenda and blindly accepting all conservative views, we embrace logical reasoning and base our conclusions in fact. As a result, not all of our beliefs are purely conservative. From time to time logic leads us to perspectives that are more on the left. These instances are rare, so we stick with our name, yet they prove our devotion to truth and reason over political bias.
The primary actions of The Modern Conservative include writing columns regarding political topics, and evaluating recent events with a generally conservative standpoint.
Another practice we quite enjoy is that of debate. As one of the most exciting and intellectually challenging activities, we find it near impossible to stay out of a political disagreement. We encourage people of any perspective to counter our claims, assuming they have some reasoning to behind it. In some cases we will publicize a debate in our blog if it was interesting enough.
